Label the pads - any recommendations?

Hi. Looking to place labels on my MPC 1000 pads. Any suggestions or recommendations? Is there a certain kind of Brother PTouch label tape that works best? Is there another type of tape of sticker that adheres well? Any insights/experiences greatly appreciated.

Well my friend tattooed his 3000 pads with cute looking Gundam robots. They faded after 5 years but the art is still there and detailed. He just needs to redo them again.

well maybe you could use some masking tape cut very thin to fit labels under each pad sorta like you see on mixers.
