Noob help

Hi fellas im looking into buying a shoebox cassette deck, wanted to know if it would be good to use this to record my music on?

it would be perfect to record music to.

it's going to sound like shit though.

truthfully, almost any other deck is going to sound better, but it would be fine for just putting your ideas to tape. i'd say explore garage sales / flea markets locally first.

thanks. Do you know any tape decks i should stay away from? decks that eat up tapes or arent reliable?
