Nice. My friend bought one those in 1991 thinking it was an album. He didn't know anything about production, and I had to explain to him why he had an album of 5-30 second "songs". The clearance rates offered in the liner notes were the most reasonable I'd ever seen. Can you imagine if more artists had done this?

I neither have a vinyl player, nor any decent vinyls for that matter, but I dig through Spotify. 8 milion tracks to sift through for decent samples. Some are from CD's, but some are recordings from vinyls or even stonecakes and phonograph waxes.

There is just a tiny problem with Spotify though, free accounts has poorer sound quality (iirc 160 kb/s) than Premium (who's got 320 kb/s). You'll hear commercials once in a while

Just preordered the new "Grap Luva" EP on LP. It's a very limited edition pressing, only 400 copies. Vinyl heads,INI fans, and Pete Rock fans should definitely pick this one up. If you've seen the prices for "Center of Attention" you might realize why, this one is going rare quickly.

I also just bought the new St. Vincent "Strange Mercy" Limited edition. It's alright, better than I anticipated, and I generally hate all this new generic indie music coming out (pretty much everything that is a top indie record on Amazon right now is just dull.)
