hello yall
first off i am a new mpc xl user who switched over from an old 2000.
this mpc is the first brand new piece of gear i have ever owned.
i bought my old mpc used and i just decided to upgrade because the old 2000 seemed to have zip issues and playing with it live was a headache.
anyway i bought a brand new mpc studio plus and i got it last thursday.
well saturday the screen froze up and made this terrible high pitched digital noise. when i turned it off then turned it back on all the lights lite up on the machine and the lcd came on but was blank( it just glowed with out any script at all)
anyway
i opened up the back and took out the 16 mb memory chips i put in and the when i turned it on still no work.
well the next day i turned it on and it powered up fine but then went into this screen that looked liike this

anyway then i turned it off and it wouldnt boot up again
all the lights lite up again and the lcd was glowing without script.
have any of you had this problem before or know anything about what im talking about?
i dont think it was the memory i put in because it worked fine thursday night and all day friday. it just up and busted saturday for who knows why
anyone know whats up?
