You guys need to keep diggin' if examples of your hottest **** include Bette Midler and Sabbath. Titanic is indeed ill though.
But really I expected to see some real heat in this forum and I aint seein jack.

I agree that some of the illest beats came from common records but that was not my point. Perhaps I misinterpreted the original thread but I thought it was something like "what's your illest record?". I just thought it was strange that someones illest record is John Travolta. Sorry guys but I wanted to see some heat.

Oh yeah and don't get me wrong.....I admit that I have ill stuff and yes I play my own drums, but I still rarely ever finish any beats that I am happy with.
This is why I have yet to make a soundclick page. I just talk a good game. I am more impressed by folks like yourself so really I admire you.

its probably not considered "heat" by heavyweight diggers, but its a good 45 to have. check another one by him: "funky l.a."/"baby rice." its pretty cool too.

thought this was gonna about mega-heat too but it just goes to show there are so many "levels" of diggers out there.

those are some of my favorites right now, maybe not the ILLEST illest records, but definitely some rare grooves madness... as far as just listening, i cant stop playing lonnie liston - visions of a new world, azar lawrence - summer solstice, dude is insane on the sax, so is bennie maupin, moonscapes is real dope...masterfleet - high on the sea...man, i finally found a copy of the gunter kallman chorus (of 'daydream' fame)...worst $5 i've spent. all the tracks are mega-cheese..whos up on that track daydream? get this..from what i've heard its on an LP thats been reissued in the UK...BUT, the rest of the album was azz, so they ,, cut the vinyl into a 7" since daydream was the last track, and reissued it as a 7. or so ive heard
