can be a great way to do simple transitions... if you have limited FX (on ur mpc), or limited CPU strength.. you can create a delay without using any effects. i know this is noooo new trick and i probably learned it on here years ago... but i think its good to keep those simple tricks in rotation .. here's a track from years ago where i used this trick a lot.. u can hear the first real clear time at the begining of the 4th bar (after hte intro)... but i do it many times throughout.. sometimes i think its just good to hear along with an example

yea, it's called fake delay and it's awesome! you can get more interesting effects than with regular delay fx, i mean more original and less usual :)

Classic trick and it definitely gives you more control. Another cool thing about doing delay this way is doing it in reverse ...kinda like a build up. Thanks for this reminder.
