Hi, i have a Mpc 1000 and i wonder how to use the banks? I mean if i want to put more samples in the B, C or D-bank.

If you don“t have the time to help me, please tell me in what page in the manual to read or link me up.

Assign your samples to the pads in any bank you want and switch between them to record sequences. What more do you need to know?

if you wanna use say the B bank (for example) go to load (Mode + Pad 2) then find the sample you want, press the B button underneath "PAD BANK" (it will light up..) then press the pad you want to assign the sample to (the first one is B01) press yes

Ok, thanks for all the replies. I appreciate it. :)

It is probably a quite simple solution to my problem, but i need some guidance im afraid. :oops:

My problem is that when i have chopped up the sample i will make it a program, right?
But always when i create a program it can only play in one bank (bank a).
I want to know how to put samples, in the same program, all the way up to bank d.

I hope you can understand me right. My english is not the best.

Thanks. /H.

the way i do it is;

- make a new program (to do this press mode + pad 7 [programs]) then at the top where it says "PGM" press the "window" button (which will be lit up orange) then press "NEW" (F3) and name it. (for examples sake wel say you named it "samples")

- once you have made this program press "main" and go to an open track within the sequence that you want to play your chops on.

- then go to underneath the track where it says "PGM" and select the program you just made ("samples")

- NOW, press bank "A", then go to load (mode + pad 2)

- find your samples, load them one by one by pressing the pad to which you want to assign them to.

- once you reach pad 16 and your bank A is full press the bank "B" button, and then press pad 01 and do exactly the same as you just did with bank "A"

- keep going, pressing each pad and pressing "do it" to load them in, do the exact same with banks "C" and "D"
and its a done deal.
