from many years of scrolling hard right for "save entire memory"
i find it a little inconvenient due to the placement of "save system setups"
i now have to scroll all the way right and then back 1 tick...

anyone know what i'm talking about ?
worth asking for an order change?

I see what you mean.

What annoys me more than that is when i want to load the system setup file.

My CF has lots of files at the root and I have the old data wheel type. I wish the system setup was the first file you could load in LOAD MODE.

Yeah exactly, keeping the save entire memory process as the last possible choice.

Or I guess just simply switching the two could do the job (instead of putting system setup on the left).

Sorry too much edit on my post.

im with you 100%, actually, i'd like it to be first (save entire memory) because thats what i most often do, as of late, my scroll wheel sucks. I cant tell if its the wheel, or the os lagging.

are there wheel sensetivity settings?

I don't think there are sensitivity settings.

On the 1K you have the choice between a type 1 or a type 2 ( I think because of a hardware change in favor of newer models)

When the reaction of a DATA wheel is slow or cannot change the value of one step, please change the set of the "Data Wheel Type" field of OTHER.
Usually, MPC in which Ver2.12 or less AKAI OS was installed selects 1.
MPC in which Ver2.13 was installed selects 2.
If OS is changed, this set will return to default setting"2".

If I remember well the 2K5 doesn't have and doesn't need these settings.

Most used should be first, 2nd most used should be last. Make a poll to find out what is most used.

I don't know if you realize this, but instead of wearing out the wheel with fast spins you can simply hold the shift or tap tempo keys, then press the - / + or spin right or left one click. Doing so will go to the first or last option in the save menu.

The 1K doesn't have -/+ dedicated buttons and the datawheel can spin pretty fast easily.

Due to differences between the 1K and the 2K5 buttons layout it's not always obvious to reach to a consensus. (and i don't talk about the case of left-handed dudes on this board :P )
