You have it set to poly set program to mono.PEACE TYPO

MONO????

sorry TYPO.
your test seems very superficial.

adjust it as you like. (Portamento on, of course).
plays constantly for a minute trying to portamento.
portamento is not correct.
I say again, try it for a minute please.
and observe their behavior.
PEACE.

Shout all you want Mr. all caps. YOUR settings are incorrect.Have you ever played a analog synth or programed true portamento?Mono. And I will not argue about one of my most used features in OS2XL

portamento only works for the same sample in a range in INST mode.

ie sample X spread from range 0 - 127.
it will not work with multiple samples at different ranges - it only works for 1 sample within its defined range.

also...be cool. i do not understand why you are so hostile about this.

someone can say why you do not hear the second key from the beginning of the note, portamento running?

I do not know why I listen to the silence at the end of the sample!
Each time you press a key, should be heard from the beginning of each note / sample.

truth, this is not authentic portamento.

've tried this in the mpc?
I'm all ears!

thanks!

when the sample bends and continues playing, this is portamento.
when the sample bends and is played again, this is portamento + "retrigger" which you see on many synthesizers.
in jjos, portamento is best used on an INST pgm with 1 suitably long sample and a high SUSTAIN in adsr. i don't think there is a RETRIGGER option in jjos2xl, but i have not checked because i do not often use INST pgms

nym thank you very much . I say again bend from note to note = portamento , but heard from the beginning of each note / sample , each time you press different keys/pads.
and I think it does not. thanks for all.
