well i started noticing it today after finishing a beat and starting a new one. when you hit the pad about 4 or 5 times the sound triggered by that pad gets filtered alittle bit. i checked note variation on ever pad and made sure no pad had filter adjustment. i don't know whats going on! help would be great. turn the machine on and off, loaded different songs, still no luck. all of my sounds do that. anything would be nice.peace.

I would check velocity mods to the filter, filter envelopes, and perhaps lfo's, although I am not sure if the 3000 has lfos.

The pad and sample are probably in POLY mode.

So when you rapidly trigger pads the overlap of each re-trigger creates a phase type filter effect.

Can sound filter like if you double bounce on the pads.

Change the sound trigger mode in your envelope and tuning screen from POLY to MONO.

Rohan.
