This forum gets around 100,000 hits a month (I forget if that is new hits, unique hits etc.. tutor mentioned the stats in another thread) When a person takes to online and looks up issues and problems as well as parts for the mpc, this website which is the largest mpc resource on the internet... pops up in the search. Every day we have people asking what a potential issue is with their mpc and we give our opinions as well as directing them to the potential vendor options available. Do you think they would find the cheapest lcd replacement we have ever heard of without doing research? I guarantee you they stumbled on vst and mpc stuff's website before mpc world as well as this forum simply by googling "mpc lines screen"... that is what my point was when trying to point out the authority or potential authority this website has on the MPC line of samplers.
jimmy2bts wrote:and for you to say that mpcworld.com must have an account here and reply to these threads is pretty dumb i'm sorry i have to say, how can anyone possibly reply to these posts??? nobody has posted any real questions just talking crap and cracking cheesy jokes
I never said they need an account to reply to these threads.. in fact I wasn't even thinking that for a second. My point is, vendors in the mpc parts market other then these guys all have accounts here.. the creator of the 3rd party mpc 3000 OS is here, JJ I suspect was here and used this forum as a resource but I never followed closely to that area of the forums, akai staff used to be here, style flip was here, envision is here, chickensys when they were still considered trustworthy, the people that made the recent 2000xl app for computers, and so on... why? because we are the people buying/using the sh!t. It only makes sense... It aint about joining in on our joking around at all. Do you ever see rohan in the off topic section?
