b.read wrote:.and not **** and moan about people in a thread hurting the company for no good reason.

the funny part about it is... we weren't even hurting the company really... we were simply pondering our own questions that cant or wouldn't be answered by the company either way (why he using a bed spread, etc lol)

the rest was teasing the butthurt fans of the site that have a case of mpc-part-store-loyalty.

Very true... if the company would actualy answer some emails and provide some legit info, there wouldn't be the need for such "damaging" speculation... 8)

nobody here said they ever did any business with this company and nobody here has provided any actual facts about anything . and no that does not mean that they do not have any customers like somebody said in an earlier post, sorry but not everyone that needs mpc parts is on this forum talking crap
By jimmy2bts Thu Sep 08, 2011 11:02 pm
all i heard was a bunch of cheesy jokes from people that clearly want to talk bs about this company

the original poster himself has basically revealed that the only reason he posted this was to talk bs about them
By jimmy2bts Thu Sep 08, 2011 11:08 pm
Mpcworld has good prices and i think their competitors dont like that and i think that most of these poeple here trying to talk crap are either the competition themselves or their affiliates. that's why they keep saying mpcworld.com is on here under different user names because they are the ones doing it themselves.

who cares? the way it works is "put up or shut up" just like the old gangstarr track... if they deal with mpc related components... IMO it would be their duty to join this board officially and introduce themselves. Create some dialogue with the members (who I suspect 100% of their customers are members here) let people know the deal and they they aren't hiding...

Remember, when nobody knows you... you aren't automatically trusted.

We all agree, mpc stuff is overpriced... but at least we know them.

Seriously, nobody was talking bad about them, Ar all. But you guys act like we are insulting your children. Which makes us suspicious. Truth is, you guys are newbs, and havent earned our trust to be pluggin an unknown site that crazily. Thats all were sayin, is y'all ****** sound fishy.
By jimmy2bts Thu Sep 08, 2011 11:55 pm
im not plugging anything i found out about them right here on this forum but i dont think everyone that needs mpc parts is on mpc-forums.

and for you to say that mpcworld.com must have an account here and reply to these threads is pretty dumb i'm sorry i have to say, how can anyone possibly reply to these posts??? nobody has posted any real questions just talking crap and cracking cheesy jokes
By jimmy2bts Fri Sep 09, 2011 12:00 am
this thread is pointless, there are no facts about anything to help anyone out which is what i thought the whole point of this tread was but i'm back at my original questions... what is the point of this thread???

and i know you're probably going to say if i dont like the thread i should leave, well there is no suprise there i read the other threads and it seems to be teh pattern here.

And like Debauch said, you caring so much about it is pointless too. Very few people have ordered from them, so there's not much first hand info in the thread. In lieu of that a lot of people posted why they had personal misgivings about ordering from these guys. I really don't see why some of you guys are so bothered by this.
By jimmy2bts Fri Sep 09, 2011 1:44 am
i'm not caring about it i just dont see a point of talking crap about a company if you've never even dealt with them. you said it yourself and i agree, it does not appear that any of the people on this thread have actually ordered from mpcworld.com yet they sit there and make up crap and spread it
By jimmy2bts Fri Sep 09, 2011 1:47 am
modman is the only one taht said he dealt with them, i'm dealing with them now to get another screen. so far the communication has been good all my emails have been answered

Glad to hear that man. Like I said, a lot of people were just stating why they possibly weren't interested in ordering from this company, and some joking ensued, no big deal.

Clearly $99 on a LCD swap deal, is a better deal than the $265 or so it costs at VST or MPCStuff. Let's us know how it works out, no one here is against them or any other supplier.

This forum gets around 100,000 hits a month (I forget if that is new hits, unique hits etc.. tutor mentioned the stats in another thread) When a person takes to online and looks up issues and problems as well as parts for the mpc, this website which is the largest mpc resource on the internet... pops up in the search. Every day we have people asking what a potential issue is with their mpc and we give our opinions as well as directing them to the potential vendor options available. Do you think they would find the cheapest lcd replacement we have ever heard of without doing research? I guarantee you they stumbled on vst and mpc stuff's website before mpc world as well as this forum simply by googling "mpc lines screen"... that is what my point was when trying to point out the authority or potential authority this website has on the MPC line of samplers.

I never said they need an account to reply to these threads.. in fact I wasn't even thinking that for a second. My point is, vendors in the mpc parts market other then these guys all have accounts here.. the creator of the 3rd party mpc 3000 OS is here, JJ I suspect was here and used this forum as a resource but I never followed closely to that area of the forums, akai staff used to be here, style flip was here, envision is here, chickensys when they were still considered trustworthy, the people that made the recent 2000xl app for computers, and so on... why? because we are the people buying/using the sh!t. It only makes sense... It aint about joining in on our joking around at all. Do you ever see rohan in the off topic section?

if an online mpc parts company are not viewing these forums, they are idiots. they dont have to plug thier product every second or blast that they are here, but they need to be here. Do I really have to explain why? btw, im posting this viewing the mpcstuff.com banner ad right in front of my face.....

A lite presence with positive feedback would surely fix any ones doubts. here is a great example: http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php ... e&start=15

example of good interaction on these forums with mpc/music realted company, without spamming or bashing. he actually only posted twice. but there was no doubt left in my mind that they are professional about what they do. the product might not be for me, or thier services might not be for me.....but if they were I would surely give them a try.
