MIDI Killing Count In?

Hi all,

Just a quick query I was hoping you guys could help me with. I've synchronized my 2500 and DAW sound module via midi and all is working well. However, when I want to record a [drum] track on the MPC itself I no longer have a count in. Its more of a slight inconvenience than anything, but I was just curious as to the what the problem may be?

I've checked the click in REC and REC/PLAY settings etc to no avail, but I notice that the problem vanishes when I turn MIDI sync off.

I found the same problem here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=111026 but couldn't find a solution. The previous post asked whether MIDI was involved however, so I'm guessing that may be the issue!

Ok, so I found a possible workaround:

I'll check this out after work and report back then! When you say "I've used the search function" that usually means you should go back and search again. My bad!
