Moving from Logic/Ableton to MPC1000 for live gigs

Hi,

I have just purchased a new MPC1000 and installed JJOS2X so I can move our live sets from Ableton sequencing to hardware as I am unhappy with Ableton for synching external hardware.
First thought are, the MPC is great!

I am finding a bit of difficulty in moving midi sequnce files into the MPC as instead of moving a midi file to a track, the MPC creates a new sequence which I don't want. I can work around it by moving the track but was wondering if I can directly copy a midi sequence file from Ableton/Logic into an MPC track?
