MPC 3000 LE for sale

Hey guys, I know this is the wrong section to actually post stuff for sale, I am going to put it in the for sale section but thought i would put it in here aswell as it wll probably get more views. For sale is my 3000 LE model, 240v which I bought about 3 months ago. Since I have had it I have replaced the tact switches to the board, upgraded the ram to 32mb, renewed the backlight and installed a compact flash card reader that was purchased from JD as scsicardreaders. I have also purchased vailixi OS from Rohan however I am still waiting for that to turn up. It comes with the optional upgrade so you can connect it to an external monitor, vct card is it..?? You guys know what I mean anyway.

If vailixiarrives in time I will install it but if not I can just forward it on to the buyer when it arrives. I really havent got round to using the unit but it all seems to work spot on, sounds great. I can also test all the outputs before it goes, but I am sure that they work fine. There is 1 little bad point, but its only small. The enter button does not work, this may have been a naff tact switch, however after reassembling it all I didnt want to take it all apart again to replace just one, which frankly you don't need anyway. As soon as you change the value of the field you have selected, you simply cursor off to another field and it sets it anyway.

I do need a quick sale I need to sell it within a few days, to free up some funds urgently otherwise it would be staying. I will upload some pics later on tonight or tomorrow. I paid £1000 for it and baring in mind I have spent about £400 on it, I think it's reasonably priced at £1300 ono posted to UK. I do need to sell so SENSIBLE offers will be considered.

I wish I could man.... but just can't do it, if there is any other way I can raise the funds then this baby will be staying with me.
If not, I'm gonna be getting a whole lot closer to the 2kxl....

Thanks alot guys. This definitely won't be the end of my 3000 usage, but just for the time being. I'm sure I will end up picking another one up in the future when the funds are right.

Yes thanks man, sold it for a little less than I would of liked.. £1050, but unfortunatly it had to go for the time being.

I'll keep my eyes peeled though as I must have another! Would love to cop a 60, but I think the small sampling time puts me off, however it is tempting to use it just for drums. We'll see I suppose

word, probably right. I probably paid a bit too much in the first place, I paid a G for it so.. I probably should of offered the dude 900 but I think he originally had it up for 1100 and I offered him 1k. However when I got it, it was completely standard and lacked the card reader, ram etc. But it's all cool.

I am still waiting for vailixi to turn up, I ordered it before I decided to sell the mpc, but still haven't received it. It's been about 3 weeks now, and Rohan isn't answering emails... hmm

What about the VGA card, did you throw that into the deal too?

I did actually, but thinking about it now, I should of kept it, I doubt the guy who bought it even knows what it does lol. O well. Yeh I will edit that now
