Skillet wrote:hi pass filter in sample edit

would be real useful for quick stuff, getting rid of weird subbass that shouldn't be there, etc. dc offset! or bias? that's what that's called.

how about several types of filter? pick between hp,lp,bp,notch. hit apply, applies changes destructively. or maybe some kind of parametric eq or just an eq with lots of bands and hp,lp modes.

just resample output

Yeah and just to remind that 1K users have a EQL and EQH "filter type" if they want to do it in a non destructive way.

true enough.....just thinking as an edit option it would be quicker, less steps. but yeah, maybe other features would be more of a priority. :)

Sample features:

* L+R mono recording
* Auto remove silence at the end
* Setup sample rate before sampling (4 - 16 bit, 11,22,44kHz)
* Add some audio codec to make the samples smaller.

A bit more loop functions would be really nice:

* Snap to zero
* Crossfade
* Auto loop (like the chopper)

That's just a few suggestions.

* L+R mono recording

That's possible. Check the mode field paragraph :
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/record.htm

A bit more loop functions would be really nice:

* Snap to zero
* Crossfade

There's a function to find zero crossings. Otherwise you can't set the lenght of the crossfade but there is a crossfade loop function.

Check the "setting the loop" subdivision :
http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2xl/trim_2e.htm

Peace

to be able to change tracks from within Loop recorder mode on the fly so you can layer a beat so that you can build a track in full live then you would be able to switch back to main screen and use track mutes, this also enables you to export each sound individually into your DAW for final mix.

The link parameters is quite useful, but what would be really nice is to be able to link up all tracks to control with one slider would be mint. It could be really useful too. Say that you have a singer who you've written a chorus too, but the song is too high. Instead of just adjusting the pitch for one track you could just adjust 'em all.

-Preview recorded sequence with a alter menu with setting like pitch,note vari.,layer,levels similar to the compare button the triton and motif.
-A way to export each track with recorded events to a separate .wav files similar to what record mode does already but instead just one stereo track it would export them as multi-mono files in the folder with cue points and regions for tracking in daw multi-tracking software preferred Pro-Tools or any daw program I can't just think of myself then it will never happen.
-The ability to get more than 32 NDChops on one program what about 64 chops per program it would save space and time with program copying and all that this has been another thing I been requesting since joining he just did pattern to pad so it might be in the works..

In the trim screen when i turn chop: ON because i spend so much time abusing my data wheel adding the tail of my sample, could i possible have the option of automatically having the entire tail of the sample added to each of my 32 chop points? Does this make sense? Somebody please help me clarify this if you get me..

so do you mean having the end points of all chops end at the end of the sample? and you are just adjusting start points and only adjusting end points if you want to?

yea exactly, have all end points of all chops end at the end of the sample, but maybe it could be an option. when your in the trim screen and you turn Chop: ON then hold down shift, you have the option to extract, normalize, or reverse each individual chop, using the F2, F4, and F6 keys. Could we perhaps get one of the three free F keys to MOVE END POINT to the end of the sample.

hmmm.. or maybe not, I just figured out trimming with qlink sliders, from someone's recent post. This will definitely save me a lot of time and JJ alot of work . I've been sleepin on this one, so scratch out this idea lol.

I still like the idea. I like the idea of two options. 1st one, similar to what you where saying, an shortcut where you could make the end point go to the next start point, or go to the end of the whole sample. the next option would be for the start point, a short cut to make the start point go to the end of the previous chop. and finally, a setting to do this for all chops.
