which do i need ?


i see 50 50 is newer and has all 50 80 sounds , so i am guessing its the better machine!

naw the 5050 is the just a trim down version of the 5080. The 5050 dont have a sampler and i dont think it can hold as my extra rom cards. The price of the 5080 is pretty damn good right now not to look at that. i dont think the price fo the 5050 has change.

To be correct the XV5080 can samplz playback, but you couldn't sample your on source into it. It support S1000 S3000 S7OO (RLD) .wav & aiff.
So you can play your own samples from your zip library or cd-roms...

FANTOM XR have the samplr but can't playback(S1000,S3000...)samplz...

XR read .wav & aiff samplz via usb, but RLD leaves the Akai format...
