Steinberg's New CMC MIDI Controller's

I don't use Cubase, but it's cool to see someone outside of Livid seeing a demand for user defined configurations and a modular approach. I'm sure we'll see more of this in the future.

They look nice, but I'll be keeping my CC121.

I really don't like Cubase, but those controllers look beautiful!

Same here, but like I mentioned, I hope this is a sign of what companies will do with their MIDI controllers in the future. It seems the next logical step.

Coz, I always thought that CC121 was a really cool concept, that integration must be dope.

I think the modular approach is the most exciting part of those controllers. I'd love to see something similar for the iPhone.

Like I mentioned, Livid out of Texas is the only other company that seems to be thinking like this. I think their model is more of a choose your own components type of thing. I was thinking if these do well, maybe Korg will try something similar with a Nanoseries 3. Hopefully at the same price point, where $180USD gets you 3 separate controllers.

It's a big time saver and makes Cubase a lot more fluid. Being able to remove the transport bar and additional screen hog shite from the main page helps too. It's also built like a tank.
