Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

^ that certainly looks great, I like the modern looking style it has... I dont know about the roger linn sig on that model though but still dope none the less.

Roger linn invented the mpc, simple as that. He may not have helped design the 2000 series but elements of his design and innovations carried through down the line.

good point, but the roger linn signature on hardware doesn't indicate influence from his past endeavors but rather it indicates his design and work on the product... having his name on gear added to pricetag... also, some people even collect vintage roger linn gear (ie: the 5 or so akai products he made and what have you.)

I get why it could be possible to pull off his signature on the machine, but you could say the same thing about his signature on a roland mv-8000 as the way the 2000 series functions is not at all the same, and the manuals are certainly not written the same way.

Here are some pics of a custom job delivered a few days ago. The customer wanted a Naruto inspired MPC, his name is Kyo Itachi ! For those who know this manga, they will recognize the Akatsuki, Amaterasu and Sharingan color scheme :
