JD did shutdown, but acquired enough stock to make a new site, but quantities are low as well as demand. I may finally grab an external SCSI drive from him, and get an ASR SCSI off eBay.

I would say the market for SCSI drives is extremely niche , to much to make it profitable.
99.998% of people in the developed world don't even know what SCSI is.
Besides, remaining supplies must be very difficult to secure in low numbers.

yet...
that doesnt answer the question i asked...
i saw "install kits" and harddrives on the site... am i right to assume that JD has no more available... not that i can afford one at the moment... just wondering...
ive done a bit of my own legwork trying to locate something similar, so im aware of the status/availability of such devices...
