I've used an MPC 2000xl in my live set-up since 2003 and it's never failed me. Even with a dead screen (I just program with a bright ass light, still I play shows in the dark). I'll fix that at a later date... However, I've been wanting to make my sets more streamlined, and longer.
Is there any way to take my MPC 2k and load a set, then transfer the files into the MPC 1000 in the studio, save them, then when playing live just go between machines rather than having to wait a few minutes to load files for different sets. I could always just reprogram all the sounds into the 1k but goddamn that would take forever with the off time glitched out grind-core beats I produce.
Any help?
