It's probably the most annoying part of the entire set up, I actually have to sit on the floor to use them.

But it does mean I'm away from the big screen haha.

Why don't you put them on the desk with the mixer on top?

Well to be honest Coz it really doesn't bother me that much sitting on the floor. In fact I sometimes prefer it, as it's the biggest space available in the room haha.

I did initially have the S3000 on top as you suggested but I didn't like the way it looked from the position I sit on my chair when I am at the screen. It didn't look fitted, if that makes any sense? I like things to sort of have their place where possible. A borderline OCD/feng shui type of issue.

If I ever did decide to change it I'd probably take that bit out altogether and get one of those racks on wheels so I could wheel it around and mess with the wires if I need to.

Pilchard, those white bracket things have been up in this room since I was a nipper. They're so adaptable and useful if you're moving things around. This place has had more facelifts than Carol Vorderman.

Me too Scoob.
My Dad had them long before I was born so I have always used them. My place is covered in them now.
Had the chance to get some large 45 degree angled brackets for them some time ago.
I passed up the oppourtunity but could kick myself now.
Imagine putting your keyboard or MPC on a 45 degree shelf?

I'd probably rip the plasterboard and bracket clean off with some over-exuberant padding haha. Aesthetically it'd look great though you're right!

Do they not sell 45 degree goodness at B&Q or something? My advice, take a pensioner on a wednesday they get a discount

Unfortunately not. I have searched high and low for years.
They seem to be designed for shopfitting eg. displaying books etc.

I have some concrete walls. I could stand on my shelves if necessary.
