go into TRIM screen. use the start and end point to find ONE chunk that you like. now hit EDIT, choose SECTION->NEW SOUND, and *shazam*, youve got that chunk now separated on its own. now do that 3-15 more times.
now go to program edit. assign those chunks to pads on ONE bank.
I'd just make copy of the sample, then trim them later. I also tried to use zone edit function first, but I find the function very half baked; it is not possible to save zone setting, once you exit the screen, and all the parameters are gone once you create slices with zone edit. In my case, I haven't ran out of memory, as over 3 minutes (in mono) of sampling time is enough for me, at least now.
