Ive been using mpc for a while, but have not been able to get much success with recording sequences.
Ill be playing a drum(etc) beat, and then want to record it as a sequence, but then when I do that, the tempo is always way off and it doesn't work, and I have to scrap it. Ive tried to adjust it using the tempo correct function where you tap the pad, but that doesnt work well, unless its a very regular thing I'm playing anyway. But for beats that dont have a constantly tapped sound, it doesnt seem to work,.
Has anyone found a way to get past this? Can't you just record what you're playing and then cut it at the po8int you want it to repeat, and get a tempo that way?
Thanks
