I hear ya, but modular bits of equipment are pretty awesome...not everyone wants/needs the same features so this will truly allow people to spend money on just what they need, not what Steinberg assumes they all need... 8)

Plus, as your needs grow, you don't have to sell your whole setup and get the next size up, you can just add what you need... this is pretty cool.

This looks dope but they didn't spend much time talking about the pad device. I wonder what the pads are like?

cant wait to see the price is, would be nice if they added like a case or rack to hook of em up to, like a box with brackets.

I'm gonna guess they'll be different prices. They pads being probably the lest expensive and the "main" volume section and faders being more because these are in higher demand. Not everybody's gonna want the pad section.
