maybe it is if you really need that SE version.. you are opposed to second hand mpc's to the point you are willing to drop 300-500 extra dollars on this one...

the price to me sounds like it's a deal compared to day 1 the 2500 came out but not so much anymore. There are two other models I would pay that cash for before a 2500... and even then I would wait for a better deal.

but as nice is the 2500se might be, that price doesn't make me feel great when krush got his 2500 I think for like 600 bucks (give or take a penny or two?)

I'd pay 900 tops for a loaded 25 but to each their own, if you have the cash, you want what you want.

I think it's a good deal for se, 1100 woulda been better or even 1150...but for 1200, you get custom 2500...if you got reg 2500, to paint the case, black out the buttons, different color LCD, black pads, black jog wheel and pads alone are $40, and you cant find that black cursor nowhere, only 5k, 2500se and apcs got it..I'd buy it without second guessing myself much on this one
