Hi all- I paid for jjos1 on my 2500 awhile back, but I noticed that any event on 1:1 is shifted way late every time the mpc loops back around. Doesn't matter if mpc is synced to pro tools via beat clock or MTC. Inserting a blank bar in the sequence start is a work around (so 4 bar loop starts at bar2). I just reinstalled the factory Akai OS (latest) and the problem is gone. Adjusting the midi clock compensation in Pt just moves all beats, so 1:1 sounds very late no matter what.

Anyone else have this issue??? I'd upgrade to jjos2xl but don't want to pay if timing of 1:1 is still f'd up.

Thx!

I ran JJOS 1 since it came out on my 1k. Now I'm running XL on my 2.5K and I have never heard of, seen or had that issue. Did you change the swing settings maybe?

that can be caused by a non-zero Timing Correct (TC) setting: you play the beats live, when the pattern loops and repeats, everything you played is off.

Make sure you hold down ERASE the first time you boot JJOS after installing it, and check the TC settings. The problem is easily fixable. Hundreds (maybe thousands) of people use JJOS - if what you're experiencing was a fundamental issue noone would use it

OS1 and Akai's OS are kinda the same I didn't have any timing problem until I started using OS2XL but you can fit that by changing the time siq to 1/4 and the tempo to 140-167 or whatever you're feel but that my quick fix to that if 4/4 is working for you feel free to change the time sig to 1/4 -1/8 or whatever
