need info on how to drag my sample library to my mpc 4000 hard drive (mac user) or a posting that might help thankz.

in order to do so you will have to get the Aksys software. Not sure if it will run on your Mac, I think I´ve read in another post Aksys won´t work on the latest operation system on Mac, you might try tho. Just in case you get it to work, you have to connect the 4K to your Mac with a Usb cable and then you can drag the sounds onto the MPC harddrive

cool, i was able to transfer my sounds to the hard drive thankz again.

Theres an easier way but you have to use it manually...Load a Thumb Drive up with your favorite samples with folders categorized and then load the folders straight from the USB port when you press Load...a little time consuming but its fun, thats how I get my samples on there.
