15 20 gigas of combinators? For real? Wow i`ll never be able to try the half of them... Usually i spend my hole time splitting and mergering signals doing wasted sounds hehe. Btw I`ll never be able to download that data`s amount with my connection

I don't think it comes with 20GB of combinators....does it Metatron?

I'm gonna just see how many Reason Drums and larger refills I can load up. Your right, most refills are small, I've had Reason since 2.5 so I have a lot of sounds in that format. No real point to it, but I usually have to resort to jbridge with Live and VST's. It is ironic one of the most cpu friendly, low memory use apps can access that much RAM being 64 bit now. Please hurry Ableton. :(

My MPC is gonna be hibernating under a dust cover after Reason 6 arrives at my door step.

And if you end up getting an MPD32....it's gonna be a long winter for your MPC.

distortedtekno, your MPC looks too good to hide, at least let it control Kong. :)

^ I hadn't even thought about that. The Mpc would make for a great controller until you decide if you want to move over to an MPD. The MPD would give you more control over Reason's parameters via the MPD's knobs and sliders. Mapping a knob or slider on the MPD to a parameter in Reason is extremely easy to do and opens up many options for automation.... I love way Reason automates to clips, it really simplifies things. :D

Yeah I'm using the 1k as a pad controller for Kong. I have the demo installed until the full version arrives. Works nice. But I'm thinking it's worth it to pick up an MPD32, as more knobs and faders would make drum module and effects parameter changes VERY good to tweak in realtime, while having the controls on my Axiom 49 work the rest of the rack synths, samplers ,etc. with a fair amount of ease. I really need to spend more time with the Axiom 49. You guys are gonna laugh, but in 5 years of owning the Axiom, I never RTFM. I printed it up a year or two ago (maybe longer? i dont know... my life is hectic). So I gotta finish up with it tonight and get everything on lock, so when the UPS guy comes to my door with R6, I'm ready to go full steam ahead. :)

While sitting here for a while thinking of how much of a waste it is to have drum pads on the Axiom when I'd rather use a 16 pad controller, I realize the 8 pads on the Axiom can serve other purposes, as I can assign them to more things in Reason than I originally thought. This is gonna be awesome!

You're right those pads could be used for lots of unique parameter mapping! Makes me want to do a little experimenting myself!

I used to use extra pads like that for track mutes. Reason's remote override is dope, but you have to save your edits as a template if you want them every time. Distortedtekno, do you use the M-Audio Enigma controller editor?

BCF2000's can be had for as cheap as $150, and have a built in preset that maps to control just about everything in Reason. Now if I could just make some table space. :)

Yeah I have Enigma installed and I still have to learn it thoroughly. I'm hoping to accomplish that tonight as well. But I gotta learn to shut the ringer off on my phone.

My copy is on it's way from P-heads. Working with the demo now and preparing to do some damage! 8)
