Yo folks!

Topic says it all.. I have a straight 97.2 Bpm Loop. I chop it up perfectly into eight notes inside recycle... Then, when i load the program into my mpc i can't recreate the loop with the master tempo set to 97.2... i have to do something like 97.6 for the chops fitting together. Is this common?

Sorry for that noobish question, but it bothers me a bit.

i dont have recycle, but i have had this happen in logic before.

i got a loop that sounded fine at whatever bpm, lets say 90 and in the mpc it didnt sound like it was looping correctly until i bumped it up to 90.6 or down to 89.5 or something. it seems like there is a little bit of play in between the tempos; this might be because logic goes can go 90.0000 and the mpc can only go 90.0

i know that doesnt really solve your problem, but i have seen it happen before too.

i guess it doesnt really matter if you choose a tempo and stick with it for the whole beat.

Recycle has a function called stretch it add a bit of a loop at the end of each chop. If you have this "stretch" function turned on it may be throwing you off. The default for the "stretch" function is 40% the best way to disable this function is to turn it to 0% but this may or may not be your problem.
