hi guys

i try to find the solution, but i think is not possible

i'd like to preview samples pad on headphones only, during a live... so no output on the master or separated output, just in headphones... is this pobbible activating something or keeping pressing something together?
best

If you run everything else out of output 3 and 4, and set up your project this way, then you can use headphone for preview. So have nothing even plugged into the main outs and nothing running out of them.

An annoying but useable workaround

Another possible workaround using outputs 1-2 as your live outs.

Set-up samples in pad banks A and B to be your "live" samples. Send them to outputs 1-2.

Copy banks A and B to banks C and D. Send these to ST outputs as your "preview" pads.

Find samples to use in banks C and D during your performance, then jump back to your live A and B banks to play them.

Benefit would be not having to enter Program Edit to preview. Obvious problem would be cutting your live sample banks in half. Also a problem if you are switching from preview to live in mid-sample.

If you can use less than 8 samples per bank when playing live, you can use a similar technique to split a bank so that pads 1-8 are live and 9-16 are preview.
