I just bought some flat black paint and I am gonna start with the buttons - I will post some befores and after when its all done - just need to get the black pads and my blue LEDS

...here is my MPC with the buttons recently painted black....

My next upgrades will be the black fat pads, black knobs/faders/cursor/wheel, and I plan to solder blue LEDs under the clear plastic and make my green play button a Blue LED.

I may even post a youtube video on the soldering of LEDs on the board as you cant really find any online. So I'll check back with updates....

Thanks!

I wanted the black pads aswell and the black frame around the CF-card slot, but now - I'm not sure. I think I'll be satisfied for a while now. :D

Deep down I still know I'll cop the black pads the moment you get them back in stock...

Yes, it's white!
But it is a cold white, with a slightly bluish shine. Matches the cold white "window button" led quite well in my opinion.

Hi Connectecitut,

Some news about the video you'd must post? I would like to see how to solder LEDs.

Thanks.
