mpc1000 RAM Upgrade

Hi sorry to make a whole new topic about this but i wanted an answer quickly. I bought the mpc1000 recently and whenever i try to chop up a sample it says "insuffisient memory". I currently just have the 16mb that came with the mpc but i know i need to upgrade to 128mb so i just wanted to know would this RAM work:

all 144-pin SODIMMs are for laptops

Alright but i'm just checking that it would work in the mpc as it says laptop memory where as the first one said it was spesifically for the mpc.
