I think some of those should be edited to represent the countries the companies were based in/produced their products in at the time.

Akai S3000 - Impreza 22B

Emu E6400 Ultra - Pontiac Trans Am a.k.a KITT from Knightrider. Even the colour scheme is similar.

i took quite a few liberties with time periods and country of origin - more about the vibe.

you got a point with KITT though, i still think it fits - an xl painted black, modded with a card reader + eb-16 fx + 8 outs + a fictional blue screen or something - id say that's night rider style. double bonus cause the TT in KITT is 'Two Thousand'.

im still keeping the emu in the beamer class, the 6400 ultra is just a real high end bmw.

now if somebody really wants to get crazy, go in and do each akai/roland/emu rack sampler according to the models ive suggested.

and yea a jj mp is def a hot-rodded honda 8)
