emptysea, has received a few updates prior to me selling mine. Has the following functions been added to Maschine yet:
1. Create and save individual drum kits
2. Preview REX files
3. Mute and solo automation
4. Save sounds as .wav files
5. Pitch/Mod wheel support

Also, how is the sample zooming in/out from the controller. It wasn't so good with OS 1.5.

Jahrome, I'll bite if you stop trolling the interwebz about how MPC5000 is "light years ahead" of Maschine.

The MPC 5000 is light years ahead of Maschine although it does cost much more. But I am not interested in a debate as anyone can download both manuals and compare what each has to offer.

Feel free to answer my questions or not......

What about these:
1. A way to stop long samples once they are triggered
2. Can't browse folders of samples on your hard drive without "importing" them into Maschine's library
3. Arp
4. MIDI event list editor

1. This sucks. Only work around is make a mute pad or setting the sample to ADSR.

3. I never use these anyway.

I'd also like to see a simple **** timeline added to the sequencer that shows actual values of velocity, notes, note time/position, etc! And also a scrolling marker in the sample editor that shows current playback location of the sample as it plays. Of course I'm just being spoiled with this once after using Recycle, being that no MPC does this! Other than that, it's pretty solid so far after spending a week with it.

I am pretty sure if I read all the manuals and visit the NI site, I can possibly find this information...but then again, reading can be easily misinterpreted.

Besides...this is the MPC Forum where you can openly bash/praise (and in some cases...sell ) any sampler you want. Since we have some passionate Maschine users, I was hoping that they chime in..but this also goes for users of all samplers.

Yes, my response was implying that Arps are a no go!

As for your other 5 questions, I know all but #2 and #3 are supported in 1.7. As for Previewing rex files, You can't push the little speaker button but a simple double click loads them pretty fast.
