The Track thing seems weird. If a pattern is set to track 2, and you're on track 1, then record the pattern, the pattern's notes are written to track 2. That seems okay, except the notes already on track 1 are nuked in the process. If you have an external MIDI controller, you can actually record to track 1 while recording the pattern to track 2. That doesn't seem right. If the pattern is set for track 2, and you record it from any other track, it should only dump the pattern data onto track 2, and leave the current track alone unless you hit a pad that was not assigned to patterns.

You may appreciate the efforts of someone while critiquing them along the way. Second-guessing is how machines like the MPC got built. If we all just had faith, we'd be tapping sticks on tree trunks. If you ever notice something potentially wrong, don't be ashamed to express your opinion. Even if you change your mind later, it's important to question, to motivate deeper analysis and positive change.

oh man its like all my sequencing dreams have come true. This is great and well worth the cash. Cant be bumped enough. I cant do without it now. Just cant. I mean why would you. I love it. enough said. Oh and i have had it running something like 8 hours straight and no crash or anything, so still pretty stable.

also would like a seq to pattern option. that way i can create patterns from full sequences not just tracks - with the options to merge all tracks, or keep all tracks and pgm assignments seperate. - maybe a split option too.

1.seq to pattern merge (merge all tracks to 1 pattern)
2.seq to pattern split (split all tracks to seperate patterns)
3.seq to pattern multi-pattern (converts to special pattern where pgm assignments on each track is memorized)

-all with options to ignore or use muted tracks

!!!

example usage: i go about my normal way of creating dope beats, each instrument on its own track. when im finished, i use seq to pattern split and create clips of each part of the beat and start arranging my song with them live!!!!

i could also create some variation tracks, mute them, but still convert them to patterns.

id also like pattern to wav function. combine that with sequence to pattern split (mentioned in previous post)

1.convert seq to pattern split (splitting each track into its own pattern automatically)
2.convert pattern to wav

nice way to export individual tracks to wav for mixing in daw.

either that or just "track to wav" feature.
