MIDI and covers

Hey I delved into the net for midi files for the first time in years and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of some of them. i mean like whole classics. I think the stand out has been Miami Sound Machine... so fun to load up a few sounds and sit back as that classic rips. Blows me away......I am not ripping off stuff, just looking for a mean cover thats fun, you know and well so far this is the one that has been the best so far. Though 2nd is Living in America james brown. Very tight arangements, must be some program used right to rip out the midi files or people have too much time on there hands. I am willing to share of course. What crazy midi tracks have you guys got. the best and worse cover maybe

heh, it was kinda a joke.

Circus galop (yes, one "l") was this song written by some guy as a duet for 2 player pianos. Its completely insane. But it must have taken forever to write it into a midi file, just search "circus galop" and you'll find videos of it.
It's entertaining to play it in some software that plays midi files with an animated pianoroll.

Ok thanks for the heads up on that tune. Yep I think some people use computer programme to get the midi from a sound file. There is something out there somewhere that does it.

These "programs" are called good musicians with good ears or notation of the song. They also know how to use CC messages.

yeah i know.... i can do it to, but it would take longer as i dont really play keys well enough for half the stuff. i mean give me another few years before i can rip out quick latin piano riffs. I eat CC's for breakfast, its more arrangement and the tight timing that makes a few stand out for me. Especially when the songsa are old, there is no need for crazy synth sweeps or the like. Just the right note in the right place
