4k Adat and rme babyface

I connected my 4k to a rme babyface with a pair of proel toslink cables (adat). I got on totalmix settings "lock" or "sync" but I've no sound. (both on 44.100). I check everything, the rme it's new, the adat card it's used (ebay). Maybe the adat card it's broken? The mpc recognize it. I don't know what can I do. Please help me! (Sorry for my english...)

Maybe I installed the adat card in a wrong way? I got only adat and effect card on my 4k.

if the mpc sees the adat as installed (global menu), its probably ok. i think theres also a page for sync (misc button on mpc) which you should update for adat

then in program mode you should have the sounds on channels 1-8, and not L/R (mix field i believe)

I do it, and I selected the 1/2 adat ch for main out!

try 3/4

depending on your setting on the previous step, the first two channels can be dedicated to sample audition, and takes up the first tow channels

dont forget to set up the channel in your daw too

check the settings of the rme card again. If the status is either "Lock" or "Sync", it should be fine, maybe switch the Sync Reference, it has the be ADAT. Have another look at Totalmix - Input Section at the top. Make sure the faders are up.
