Yeah, it's a silly price! The filter app they make is pretty nice too.

Isn't it only 99c for the first 30 days and then you have to register it for $29.99?

The synth sounds nice. But I still don't like the lack of velocity sensitivity for any of these apps. I know that's a hardware issue, but it really would be so much more tempting if that could be done.

What we need is an Apple and Roger Linn collaboration. 8)

It may be ^^^

Either way, it's worth a buck to check it out before plunking down the full price. :D

For 99c / 0,79eur it's a steal! If only midi mobilizer was cheaper...

Nope, it's just discounted.

1. With the camera connection kit I jacked it into my MPC1k to get velocity & poly pressure. 2. The way the control is setup each key is like an individual mod wheel and you can map up to 4 modulations, one of which can be volume. Point being, it's plenty expressive and I don't miss the lack of velocity at all. It's up to the app makers to come up with clever solutions.

By the way the MPC + iPad combination is ridiculously good. The only other thing you "need" is an analog filter and keyboard. Okay, and maybe some outboard effects like reverb. :) Too bad the iPad can't do digital audio though.
