I was messing with my 2500 and the jog wheel don't want to work like it's suppose....some pad and buttons won't respond accordingly....how much does this cost to get fixed?

what os you using? do you have an internal hd or just use cf cards?
you could back up your files, then try re-installing the os and keep your fingers crossed.
if that don't work, i'd hit up VST Service. for newer mpc's they are good and fair on their prices.

hope things work out for you cuzn.

mr_debauch wrote:also try re-seating the connectors and spray the jog encoder with contact cleaner... even for optical encoders that can help if it's not responding well. never know, it could have slid loose over time.. and you might as well try since what ever you do will result in opening it up.

So I'm a baller like Prah.
Nah, he's too high up there for my pockets to match.

sounds like a good idea...like "what do I have to lose?......"
I don't know how to re-seat connectors though....but still sounds like a good idea
