Saving to a USB Hard Drive

I just got a external USB hard drive and was wondering how to save files from my MPC 4000 I have searched the forums and got some good info on external drives but not the info thats seems to be my problem ,,,

My MPC will recognize the drive and load files from it but will not save to it ...
I also have a USB flash drive that i cant save to...


I tried adding partitions but that did not help...

this is frustrating ..

there shouldn't be any reason you can't, just re format the drive via the mpc and make sure it is connected to the front usb not the back

Yes i have it in the front USB port and I did format quick and full...

also it is FAT32..

hit the window button while the load screen is open
you should get a list of available devices,both internal and external.

Well I need to hit the save and not load WTF thanks MPC2000XL..
