having took the jump from computer music to mpc 2500 as needed a more human feel to my beats..

having one problem,

when using the sequencer for example if i have a drum loop going round and if i try to lay some samples over the top, it cuts out the section of the drums when the new sample is played for example

im sure theres an easy way to solve this, but have searched and searched and cant adjust it.

all i want is to lay samples on top of each other so all fits in together

how does the mpc compare to the computer as far as 'the human feel'?

i mean, u no u couldve gotten a controller, right?

mute options in programm mode!!!
This seams to be so common.. howcome I was never stuck with it ???

got a controller, still have the computer set up. but prefer mpc for chopping up samples. can you shed any light on the problem im having?

your program is set to MONO, set it to POLY

If you'd said setting the program's Voice Overlap to POLY instead of "mute options" I wouldn't have felt the need to reply - your answer wasn't really accurate though :P
