i remember someone posting a way to reach a screen on the 4000 to check all the keys and pads on the 4000. i tried looking this up using the search enging, but couldnt seem to find it. can someone post it again, i think one of my keys is shot.

So what is going is the MPC working or not?

one of my transport keys is acting up. i think my girl messed it up when she spilled a small amount of "sauce" on the 4000. i told her to chill out, but it was just one of those nights. i think i might open it up and see if i can clean the contacts. also the damn master tempo button. forgot about that one.

i'll keep her away from all things electronic now.
