I have FULL LEVEL on, but my samples play so quietly compared to their volume when i press PLAY when loading samples. Why is this? How can i fix it?

Each mpc pad has individual volume settings
A filter will also dampen sound

Well done! Not used a 500 yet but there may be volume control on pad program settings

As for filters... Each sample requires different treatment
It's all about getting what you are looking for out of each sample.
Play around with filters and resonance to really colour and mod your samples

With an mpc you get out what you put in :)

Also, pressing Mode and then Program, will let you edit your sample on the pad, volume included.

You should really use the search function, it'll be easier to find your answer than waiting for a reply...or even worse...a flamming. But I'm just saying

You really should get into your manual more, this is already covered. If you read and push buttons at the same time you'd have "broken through this wall" already. Not trying to be a dyck but your only slowing yourself down.

Don't be your own worst problem.

:)

It wasn't like that years ago, but I noticed it in the past year.
