Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi, it's been a while since I've been here. Just plugged my MPC into my zip drive for the first time in a few months and nothing happens when I scroll to the drive's scsi port. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Termination should be on and scsi ID 5 (just assuming you are talking about an external ZIP drive)

Thanks, I forgot to mention that it is an external Zip drive and it is an MPC 2000. I have it set to 5 and termination on and still nothing happens. I tried an alternate scsi cable and still nothing...

Maybe your ZIP drive is not working anymore? did you have any other sampler where you can test it? or maybe a friend of you who has another 2K? are your zip disk working? when the ZIP drive is not ready the MPC should show an error message saying the SCSI device is not ready...

I had a broken zip drive before and what is weird this time is that when I go to scsi 5 on the MPC absolutely nothing happens. I think that in the past there was at least some kind of sound that made it seem like the MPC was trying to access the drive.

Is there any good place to get these ZIP drives these days besides EBay?
