my mp 2500 has been on for a good 12-18hrs in warm weather...
i burnt my favorite pad tapping finger taking something out of the oven earlier,
for some reason i thought id wrap a few ice cubes in some baking paper(no paper towels) and hold it for a while to stop swelling..
i left for a couple hrs to do some shit leaving my gear on.
came back and picked up what i thought was a tissue, pouring a nice splash onto the cursor section of my mp, forgetting about the makeshift cold pack id used and that ice does melt....

thought i was lucky, splash on my desk, some drops on the mp case...
saved what i had straight away and resumed..
wiped it off, tried to use the cursor for something and found its triggering random buttons/functions and looking closer theres moisture trapped around the cursor section....

FUK!!

time to open her up and wipe the bored down, im lucky i didnt short her out and that its just water.. but i wanna make beats now g'dammnit!!

Best to open it up and use a tissue to dry the wet spots. Hairdryer could also help here. Be sure to disconnect mains first. Luckily it was just water, so once it's all dry it should be just fine.
