Come to think.. they usually are cheaper than posters... and I'm prolly gonna find some gold in that lump of **** ... So why not???
I think I'ma hit the flee markets ..

Do it. You can if you "dig hard". I found stuff like the Winstons - Color him father or Incredible Bongo Band or Titanic in 50cent crates. Sure they don't look like new but thy are not completly scratched.
There are three reasons why I'm diggin records
1. Finding good sampes that probably noone have.
2. Finding good songs I didn't know
3. Finding songs that I know and really like.
I would never buy anything I don't know for more than 1 EUR. Most of the records I bought blind was in the 10-50 cent range. So it doesn't really hurt if they are really trashy. And after a time you really know what might have a good song on it or a break and which reacord definitely won't have something good on it (<- I think this is quote of someone but I can't remember where I heard it).
I also like obscure stuff and cover versions. I don't mind buying a shitty 50 cent record from some unknown musicians if it has a cover version of superstition or something like that on it. This can be really funny too cause sometimes even the lyrics are wrong or in a really bad english with german accent.
I also wouldn't pay more than something like 10 EUR for a record (except something really good, rare and good condition. Rare in this case mean rare in my local area and places I dig)
