I checked it out the other day and it's pretty damn hot.... real quick to work with and intergrated well into a computer based sequencing program. I'd definately check it out if I were you.... that is of course if you are into sequencing with a computer. If your main tool is tha mpc I wouldn't go that way.....

i do all the sequencing on the 4000. but E-mu says you can use it as a stand alone unit. but i was more interested in the mixing facility it offers.
