Always had this thought in the back of my head. I treat my MPC like a laptop, actually more like a baby. Lol no joke. You know how if you have your laptop on a thick blanket on your bed for a long period of time the vents on the bottom can't circulate air so they "overheat"? I was wondering if the MPC is similar? I have a HD in mine as well, maybe that's why I think of it as a laptop lol.

Anybody had any problems like this?

Isn't there an urban myth where guys watching porn were burning their bell ends after a cheeky bit of laptop levitation?

not sure what mpc you own, but I know 5k, 4k, 2500, and 2000 dont got vents on the bottom...4000 got a fan blowing out the back. 2500 got vent holes on top left corner, 5k got them on both sides...if you wrapped mpc in a blanket you'd obviously trap the heat inside which could lead to potential overheat/fire hazard...other than that I dont think it should be a problem....I've left my 2500 on over night and had no problem...I used to leave my motif on for days and also no problem.
