need help

Hi everyone!
i Have a question: in my step edit i wanna see my pads as Pad1 , Pad2 not as 37/c#1 46/Bb1 etc. I need this because if i waana change playing parts. once i play pad7 and i wanna chenge it for pad9 i dont wanna go to manual i check : hmm pad 9 = 48/c2 i just wanna change it for Pad 'x' please help

i can do it in my mpc1000 and i dont know if i make this hapens in 4000

when you pads are in chromatic assignment, you first pad will always be 37(you can change this any time too)
