Mono outputs?

Im torn between getting a 1000 or the 2500.
The 1000 is cheaper but has less outputs and editing capibilities (not to mention pretty bad reviews)
The 2500 looks rock solid in every department - except price.

I just read on another forum that the 4 assaignable outs on the 1000 cannot be set to mono? Is this true? This would be a major drawback to my pending decision.

Or will installing the JJOS fix these issues?

i know 100% they can be all mono. thats why they're there, so you can track out more sounds at once

you can get just as much done on the 1000 than any other mpc. its the same with every piece of gear you'll ever have...you have to learn each machine and use it to the best of its abilities.
